Local volunteers dispatched to assist storm victims
TRAVERSE CITY By the time you read this Leo and Chimera Smith will already be in Louisiana assisting those affected by tropical storm/hurricane Gustav. While Gustav was still gathering steam off the coast of Jamaica Friday, it is expected to hit New Orleans and the coast early this week. A second tropical storm, Hanna, may follow in Gustav’s path.
